NOTES TO CONTRIBUTORS

Prospective contributors should take note of the following details in preparing their papers for publication in SJEMRL:

  1. the manuscript must not exceed 15 pages including references, appendices and should contain title page, abstract and keywords of not less than three;
  2. manuscripts must be typed on an A-4 size paper double-spaced, while the abstract should not be more than 200 words;
  3. authors should follow the latest reference and text citation styles as prescribed in the current American Psychology Association (APA);
  4. articles should be prepared using Times New Roman, with font 12 points;
  5. authors should use block paragraphing style, with double line spacing between the paragraphs;
  6. empirical articles should be presented under the following sub-headings; Introduction, statement of the problem, purpose of the study, research questions, hypotheses, methodology, results, discussion of findings, conclusion, recommendations and references;
  7. position papers should be presented under appropriately and relevant sub-headings but without numbering of the subheadings; and
  8. authors are to note that there would only be share of copy rights after plagiarism check has been performed on the papers.
